Ruger 10/22 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Walnut Mannlicher Rifle

A 10/22 dressed up the old European way. The walnut stock runs the full length of the barrel to the muzzle, Mannlicher style, with checkering and sling swivel studs, and the barreled action is blued. It is the same 10/22 action millions of shooters learned on: an 18.5" cold hammer forged barrel held in the receiver by Ruger's two screw V block, a cross bolt safety, and the 10 round rotary magazine that sits flush with the stock and feeds 22 LR without fuss. This one is a TALO edition.

The sights are adjustable, so you can zero it out of the box for squirrels or tin cans, and a combination scope base adapter is included that takes both Weaver style and 22 tip off mounts. The magazine release is big and easy to find, and the trigger housing is a glass filled polymer that shrugs off weather and wear. Rifling twist is 1:16". If you like a rimfire that looks as good in the rack as it shoots in the field, this walnut 10/22 is a good place to start, and a nice one to hand down later.
