Ruger 10/22 Carbine 22 LR 16.12" 10rd Rifle

The 10/22 is the rimfire rifle most people learn on. This carbine runs a 16.12" alloy steel barrel in satin black, a 10 round rotary magazine that sits flush with the stock, and the BX-Trigger with a light crisp break and a positive reset. Fiber optic sights come standard, front and adjustable rear, and the receiver takes the included combination scope base that accepts both Weaver style rings and 22 tip off mounts. A match bolt release drops the bolt with a simple pull instead of the old two hand fumble.

The black synthetic stock carries M-LOK slots at the six o'clock position for a bipod or a light, textured panels on the pistol grip and forend, and integral sling swivel mounts. Ruger cut a cleaning port into the rear of the receiver so a rod goes in from the back without pulling the barrel. Nothing here is complicated, which is the whole point of the design. The 10/22 has been in production for over half a century, the parts and accessory market behind it is enormous, and a new one out of the box still shoots better than most people can hold it.
