Retay ACE Upland Ultralight 12 GA 24" 3rd Walnut Shotgun

Retay's ACE Upland Ultralight is built for people who walk a great deal more than they shoot. The 12 gauge runs on Retay's Inertia Plus system, a straight line inertia action with a bolt rollover torsion spring, and inertia guns stay clean far longer than gas guns because the powder residue never gets pushed back into the receiver. There is no piston to scrub and no gas ports to foul, which matters on a bird gun that lives in a truck through the season.

The 24 inch barrel is the short end of the ACE lineup and it points like a smaller gun in tight cover, coming around fast on a flushing bird without the muzzle heaviness of a long tube. The barrel is deep bore drilled and carries a single fiber optic bead. Five flush chokes cover cylinder through full, so one gun patterns for a close flush or a longer crossing shot. The stock is AA grade satin walnut with a 14.5 inch length of pull and a shim kit for adjusting cast and drop. The safety is oversized and reversible, the trigger group comes out at the push of a button, and the chamber takes shells up to 3 inches with a 3 round magazine. At around 6 pounds 3 ounces, it carries the way an upland gun should.
