Retay ACE-R Upland Ultralight 20 GA 24" 3rd Walnut Shotgun

This is the shortest and lightest configuration in the ACE-R Upland Ultralight range: 20 gauge, 24 inch barrel, right around 5 pounds 11 ounces. It is a gun built for tight cover and long walks, where every ounce hanging off a shoulder gets noticed by mid afternoon and the shots come at close range with no time to set up. A 20 gauge this light asks for a smooth swing rather than a muscled one.

Fit is where a light gun either works or does not, and Retay handles that with a shim kit that changes drop and cast at the stock head, plus a 14.5 inch length of pull off the AA grade satin walnut stock. Five flush chokes cover cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, and full, so the same gun patterns for a close flush or a longer crossing shot. The action is Retay's straight line inertia with the Inertia Plus bolt rollover torsion spring, which keeps the internals dry and the cleaning short. The barrel is deep bore drilled with a single fiber optic bead, the safety is oversized and reversible, and the trigger group drops out at the push of a button. The chamber takes shells up to 3 inches and the magazine holds 3 rounds.
