Retay ACE-R 20 GA 28" 3rd Walnut Shotgun

Retay built the ACE-R around a receiver with no plastic in it, which is worth knowing if you have ever had a polymer trigger housing go brittle on a cold morning. The action is inertia driven - the Inertia Plus rotating bolt with its rollover torsion spring - so there is no gas system bleeding fouling back into the receiver after a wet day out. Recoil energy does the work, the bolt unlocks and rotates, and the whole cycle happens with far fewer moving parts than a gas gun needs.

This one is a 20 gauge with a 3" chamber and a 28" deep bore drilled barrel, finished with a lengthened forcing cone that eases the transition out of the chamber. Walnut furniture sits against a black receiver, cut to a 14.5" length of pull, and the shim kit in the box lets you change drop and cast to move point of impact rather than fighting the gun. Southpaws can move the oversized safety button to the other side. One button releases the entire trigger group. Six extended choke tubes run cylinder through full plus a waterfowl long range tube, a lone fiber optic bead marks the rib, and Retay's easy out magazine system lets you unload without cycling shells through the action.
