Retay ACE-R 20 GA 28" 3rd Gamekeeper Shotgun

Put a 28" barrel on a 20 gauge and you get a gun that swings like a bigger bore without the weight penalty that usually comes with one. This ACE-R runs a 3" chamber behind that barrel, finished in Gamekeeper, and the whole thing works off Retay's Straight Line Inertial Transfer System instead of tapped gas.

The Inertia Plus rotating bolt uses a rollover torsion spring, and since nothing bleeds back from the barrel there is no piston to scrub and no gas ports to clear at the end of a wet day. The barrel is deep bore drilled and dead straight, with a forcing cone lengthened at the factory to soften the shot column's transition into the bore. Six extended chokes come with the gun: cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full, and a waterfowl long range tube for birds working the outside of the spread. A single fiber optic bead marks the rib. The receiver is built with no plastic parts, the trigger group comes out with a push button, and the oversized safety reverses for left hand shooters. The AIRY pad and a 14.5" length of pull with a shim kit handle fit and felt recoil. Magazine capacity is 3 rounds, and the easy out system empties the tube without cycling live shells.
