About the Retay ACE-R 20 GA
Retay's ACE-R in 20 gauge runs a 28" deep bore drilled barrel and a 3" chamber, driven by the Inertia Plus system. Inertia guns are the simple answer to hard use: recoil cycles the action, there is no gas port to foul, and a wet or dirty morning does not put the gun out of the fight. A single fiber optic bead sits on the rib, which is all the sighting equipment a bird gun needs.
The ACE Standard stock is camo finished and comes with a shim kit for adjusting drop and cast and sets up with 14.5" of pull. The safety button is oversized and reversible, so gloved hands and left hand shooters are both accounted for, and the trigger group drops out at the push of a button. Magazine capacity is 3. The extended choke set runs cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full and a waterfowl tube, so the same gun handles decoying ducks and walked up quail without any parts hunting. Weight is 7 lbs 4 oz, which sits in the range where a 20 gauge stays comfortable to carry and still swings honestly.
