At 6 lbs 6 oz this is one of the lighter inertia guns you can put on a sling, and the 26" barrel keeps the weight between your hands instead of out front. That combination matters on the walk in and it matters again when a wood duck drops through the canopy and you have about a second to get on it. The ACE-R uses a receiver with no plastic in the build, paired with the Inertia Plus rotating bolt and its rollover torsion spring.

Being inertia driven means no gas ports, no piston and no carbon working its way back into the receiver, so a marsh morning ends with a wipe down rather than a strip down. The barrel is deep bore drilled with a lengthened forcing cone, and six extended chokes come with the gun - cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full and a waterfowl long range tube. Bronze Cerakote on the metal reads warm against the bark tones of Mossy Oak Bottomland on the stock. Length of pull is 14.5" with a shim kit so drop and cast can be adjusted, the oversized safety reverses for left hand shooters, and the trigger group comes out with a push button. Three rounds ride in the magazine behind a 3" chamber.
