The Scout is Red Rock Outdoor Gear's compact 20 liter daypack. Twenty liters swallows a jacket, water, lunch and a handful of small items without the bulk of a three day pack, which makes it the bag you leave in the truck for whatever the day turns into.

Red Rock builds simple, hard wearing outdoor and tactical packs and the Scout follows that pattern. A straightforward main compartment carries the bulk of the load, the shoulder straps adjust to fit over a shell or a t-shirt, and the fabric shrugs off the scuffs a pack picks up in a truck bed or a range cart.
