About the RCBS 308 Win Small
Small base dies for 308 Winchester brass headed to rifles with tight chambers: semi autos, pumps and lever guns. The small base sizer takes cases below SAAMI minimum, pushing the shoulder and body back a few thousandths, and deprimes on the same stroke.
The regular seater die has a built in roll crimper. To seat without crimping, back the die out until the crimp ring clears the case mouth.
