About this product
The Fix is Q's chassis free bolt action. There is no chassis: a one piece receiver holds the trigger group, bolt and barrel, which keeps it rigid and cuts bulk and weight. Bolted to it are a grip, a fully adjustable folding stock, a free float Q-Sert handguard and an M1913 Picatinny top rail. The bolt has a short 45 degree throw, and the controls follow AR style with an AR pattern safety selector.
This SKU is the short barrel rifle in 8.6 Blackout with a 12" lightweight profile stainless barrel and a 1:3 twist. It feeds from SR-25 pattern magazines and comes with a 10rd magazine. The muzzle is threaded M18x1.5 with a taper and wears a Cherry Bomb muzzle brake. The trigger is a 2-stage match unit, and the rifle weighs 5.4 lbs. Q notes that ammunition loaded with hard primers for semi auto rifles can give light primer strikes. Optic and suppressor are not included.
