Q Honey Badger 300 BLK 7" 30rd Braced Pistol

The Honey Badger was born at AAC alongside the 300 AAC Blackout cartridge itself. Kevin Brittingham's team built it for a special operations group that wanted to replace suppressed MP5s with a rifle caliber gun that stayed quiet. It never went on public sale there. Q, Brittingham's current company, brought it back with an improved gas system, trigger and telescoping brace. This is the original concept in its natural caliber: 300 BLK with a 7" barrel.

The 300 BLK and a short barrel is the pairing the Badger was made for. It burns its powder efficiently in 7", and with subsonic loads and a suppressor it is remarkably quiet. An adjustable gas block lets you tune it for suppressed or unsuppressed use. The aluminum receivers carry a free floating M-LOK handguard and a Picatinny top rail, controls are standard AR with a 70 degree safety selector, and a 2 position telescoping pistol brace keeps the overall length around 20 to 25". It weighs about 4.5 lbs and comes with a 30 round magazine. Hard to beat for a compact, quiet home defense or truck gun.
