PROOF Research PXT .284 16.5" Sendero Carbon Fiber Barrel Blank

Sold as a blank. It comes unchambered, uncut and unthreaded, and a gunsmith takes it from there: chamber reamer, finish length, muzzle threads, then fitted to your action. You choose the cartridge and the finished length instead of taking what a production barrel gives you.

The blank is .284 bore at 16.5" in a Sendero contour, which covers 7mm builds from 7mm-08 up through the magnums. A steel Sendero at this length is a heavy piece of barrel; wrapped in carbon over a match grade core, it keeps the stiffness and drops most of the mass. PXT rifling raises the twist progressively from the breech, reducing engraving force and pushing throat erosion further out on cartridges that are hard on throats.
