PROOF Research Pre-Fit Barrel Q Fix 22 Creedmoor 20" Carbon Fiber

22 Creedmoor is the Creedmoor case necked down to .224, and it throws heavy 22 caliber match bullets fast enough to embarrass most 6mm loads on wind drift while beating up neither the shooter nor the brass. On a light takedown rifle like Q's The Fix, that combination of low recoil and flat trajectory is hard to argue with.

This is a 20" pre-fit, so it threads onto The Fix with no lathe work. The barrel is match grade steel, turned down and wrapped in carbon fiber, which keeps the weight off the front of a rifle meant to be carried and pulls heat out between strings. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 for a can or a brake.
