Sixteen inches of carbon wrapped barrel with an intermediate gas port, which sits between mid and rifle length and stretches the dwell time on a 16" gun. Softer impulse, less wear on the bolt, easier to tune with an adjustable gas block. The core is match grade steel turned to a slim profile, the outside is carbon fiber, and the weight saving lands where a rifle notices it most.

223 Wylde chambering handles 5.56 NATO and 223 Rem, and the faster rifling in this one favors heavier bullets. PXT progressive rifling starts shallow and accelerates down the bore, cutting the force needed to engrave a bullet and slowing throat wear across the life of the barrel.
