Pro-Shot Small Brass Scraper

Carbon that has cooked onto a bolt face will not come off with a patch and solvent alone. This small brass scraper gives you an edge hard enough to cut the crust and soft enough that it leaves the steel underneath alone. At about 1.375 inches it works in pockets that a full size tool cannot enter.

The 8-32 thread lets it ride on a standard cleaning rod or handle when you want leverage behind the edge. Bolt faces, locking lug recesses, breech faces and choke tube threads all clean up faster with a scraper than with a brush that just rides over the top of the fouling.
