The star chamber and lug recesses in an AR barrel extension are the spots that never get cleaned, because a standard bore brush walks right past them. The Chamber Maid fixes that. A heavy duty bronze brush with a wider band of stainless bristles fills the chamber and scrubs the lug recesses at the same time.

The kit runs a flexible steel braid and a rubber coated rod so you can work through the upper receiver without banging up the finish, and the detachable handle gives you enough leverage to actually spin the brush where it counts. Sized for 5.56 AR-15, M4, and M16 pattern rifles. A few minutes with this after a range trip keeps the extension from building the carbon ring that starts causing extraction problems.
