Pro-Shot 54 Caliber Black Powder Bore Brush

Sized for 54 caliber muzzleloader barrels. Bronze bristles do the scrubbing and a brass core carries them, both softer than barrel steel, so the brush works on fouling and leaves the rifling where it is.

Pro-Shot winds the core through the coupling rather than relying on a crimp, so dragging the brush back up the bore will not separate the head from the stem. The thread is 10-32, which is what muzzleloader ramrods use, so a conventional 8-32 cleaning rod will not take it. Run it wet, then follow with a mop or a dry patch to finish.
