Pro-Shot 45 Caliber Black Powder Cleaning Jag

Button style jag turned from brass, with a steel threaded stud pressed in so the joint does not strip after a season of hard cleaning. The 10-32 thread assembles straight onto a Pro-Shot black powder rod or a standard muzzleloader ramrod with no adapter in between.

The face is cupped in a shallow sphere rather than left flat. That shape lets you seat a patched round ball with the jag still on the rod, so a range session does not turn into swapping tips between every shot. Brass wraps the patch evenly against 45 caliber rifling and pushes fouling ahead of it.
