Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x24 SFP ACSS Nova Riflescope

The redesigned PLxC 1-8x24mm is a compact second focal plane rifle scope that weighs 16.95 ounces. Primary Arms uses premium grade Japanese ED lenses here, which cut color fringing and hold contrast when the light goes flat. Field of view runs 121 feet at 100 yards, which is a lot of usable picture at the 1x setting, and eye relief is forgiving enough that head position does not have to be exact.

The ACSS Nova Fiber Wire reticle is the reason to look at this version. Fiber wire construction lets the center illuminate at red dot brightness, so at 1x the scope works like a red dot with both eyes open, then dials up to 8x when the target is small or far off. Second focal plane keeps the reticle the same apparent size across the magnification range, which most shooters prefer for close work.
