Otis 9mm/38 Cal Bronze Bore Brush

Phosphor bronze bristles on a brass stem: both softer than the barrel, both hard enough to break up the copper and carbon that patches slide right over. Two inches of brush gives full bore contact through a pistol barrel in a single pass.

Otis stamps the brush size into the stem, which sounds like a small detail until you are digging through a coffee can of loose brushes trying to find the 9mm. Standard 8-32 threads fit Otis cleaning cables and most conventional rods, so it works in a compact field kit or on the bench. Covers 9mm and 38 caliber bores.
