Noveske AR Thread Protector 1/2-28

Exposed muzzle threads sit at the front of the barrel where they collect carbon and take knocks. Noveske's thread protector covers 1/2-28 threads whenever a suppressor or muzzle device is off the gun.

It fits AR barrel profiles and is listed for 5.56 NATO and 223 Rem barrels. Threading it on takes seconds, and keeping the shoulder and the thread crests clean means the next muzzle device indexes square instead of fighting a bruised thread. A barrel whose threads stay clean does not need them chased with a die, and that is the entire job this part does.
