The rifle's NEMO upper and lower receiver set, constructed from billet 7076-T6 and finished with a Cobalt Cerakote, provides a robust and durable foundation. The 15-inch 6061 M-LOK modular rail with a 1.83-inch internal diameter and steel QD mounts offers versatility and customization options for any shooting scenario. The NEMO OMEN RECON 300WM is equipped with a lightweight, heat-dissipating barrel nut made from 7075-T6, and a tuned steel-faced buffer system with a chrome silicon recoil spring, ensuring reliable performance and reduced recoil. The patented recoil reduction carrier, made from 8620 heat-treated Nickel Boron coated material, and the high-pressure bolt, crafted from 9310 heat-treated Cryod shot peened MPI Nickel Boron coated steel, further enhance the rifle's reliability and durability. The firearm also features a 4-position adjustable gas system, allowing for seamless transition between suppressed and unsuppressed use, and a severe duty threaded stainless gas tube with an extended length gas system. The NEMO OMEN RECON Long Range rifle is equipped with a dual chamber compact muzzle brake made from 6AL-4V titanium, a tool steel extractor with IONBOND coating, and titanium through-drilled takedown and pivot pins. The ambidextrous safety selector, tool steel side charging handle with Ionbond coating, and Geissele Super semi-automatic enhanced (SSA-E) two-stage trigger with a first stage pull of 2.3lbs and a second stage pull of 1.2lbs, provide exceptional control and precision.
