The Atom is the pistol version of the GOAT-15, a 22 LR built on polymer upper and lower receivers that together weigh 1 pound 14 ounces. That is light enough to clip into a pack and forget about, which is the point for hikers, trappers and anyone who wants a small game gun that takes up no room.
