MDT SRS-X Elite Buttstock Dampeners

These rubber inserts fill the cutouts in the buttstock of the MDT SRS-X Elite chassis. When the rifle fires they absorb part of the recoil energy and the harmonic vibration coming back through the chassis from the barreled action, which takes the ring out of the shot and leaves the gun feeling dead in the shoulder.

The practical payoff is spotting impacts. Less vibration through the stock means less disturbance in the scope and a faster return to the target between shots. Installation is press fit with a bit of dry lube around the edge of each dampener, and no tools are required.
