MDT's HNT26 exists for one job: putting a true precision chassis under a hunting rifle without the weight penalty chassis systems usually drag along. Built around a magnesium alloy core, it comes in near the weight of a traditional sporter stock while giving a Remington 700 long action a rigid machined bedding interface, a folding stock for pack transport, and an ARCA rail up front that takes tripods, bipods, and clamps directly.
Folded, it shortens the rifle enough to strap cleanly to a pack for backcountry hunts where every inch of profile matters. The right hand inlet takes long action 700 pattern receivers, which covers a huge share of custom and production hunting builds.
