LWRC IC A5 300 BLK 10.5" SBA3 Brace Pistol

The IC A5 traces back to the rifles LWRC developed for the U.S. Army's Individual Carbine Program, and this is the pistol version of it in 300 Blackout with a 10.5 inch barrel. The heart of the gun is LWRC's proprietary short stroke gas piston system, which keeps combustion gas and the fouling it carries out at the front of the receiver instead of dumping it back into the bolt carrier. Guns built this way stay cleaner and run cooler through long strings, and they tolerate neglect better than a direct gas system when conditions turn ugly.

300 Blackout and a short barrel belong together. The cartridge was worked out to reach full velocity in barrels this length, so a 10.5 inch gun gives up almost nothing compared to a carbine, and the muzzle threads mean a suppressor or muzzle device mounts without further work. An SBA3 brace is fitted at the rear. The result is a compact, quiet capable package for truck duty, home defense or anywhere a full length carbine is more gun than the space allows. Black throughout, and short enough to store where a carbine will not fit.
