Luth-AR Delrin Punch

Steel punches chew up anodizing. This one is turned from Delrin, a hard polymer that is still softer than the aluminum around it, so a tight takedown or pivot pin comes out without leaving a bright scar down the side of the receiver.

It handles the pins that fight back on a fresh build or a new lower that has not loosened up yet, and it works just as well pushing pins home during assembly. Cheap insurance on a rifle you care about the look of, and it belongs in the same drawer as the rest of the build tools rather than in the range bag.
