Luth-AR 308 Firing Pin

A firing pin is a wear part nobody thinks about until a rifle starts giving light strikes or a primer comes out pierced. Keeping a spare in the parts box turns a dead rifle at the range into a five minute fix at the bench.

This is the 308 pattern pin from Luth-AR. It goes into a 308 carrier the way the original did, held by the retaining pin. When one comes out, look at the tip: a chipped or mushroomed pin is the reason a lot of rifles start puncturing primers, and it is cheaper to replace than to chase.
