The Vector exists because of one idea. Instead of traveling straight back, the bolt drops down into a channel behind the magazine well, and the Super V system redirects recoil energy downward rather than into your shoulder. On a 9mm carbine that already recoils lightly, the practical result is that the sights barely move between shots and follow ups happen about as fast as you can press. The CRB is the 16 inch version, which keeps it a rifle everywhere barrel length is counted, and this one is built to the California compliant configuration with a 10rd magazine.

Gen 3 reworked the upper and lower housings for better ergonomics, more adaptability and more room to customize, and the refreshed barrel shroud adds integrated M-LOK mounting points along its length for a light or a hand stop. It feeds from full size Glock pattern magazines, which most 9mm shooters already own by the boxful, so keeping it fed is not a special project. KRISS positions the CRB as the most accessible member of the Vector family, aimed at recreational shooting and pistol caliber carbine competition, and that is a fair description of where it lands. The Arctic colorway keeps it out of the sea of black carbines on the rack.
