Designed for applications where the carrier and buffer tube do not protrude past the receiver ring, this two-part kit with an attaching bolt securely interfaces the externally-threaded adapter plug and the adapter rail section, creating a solid connection within a compact footprint. Please note that this adapter will not work with a standard AR15 lower and the MCX upper, and standard configuration AR15 rifles will not function using this setup unless the appropriate Take Down Pin is employed on an AR15 lower that does not require a spring or detent.
