Keystone Sporting Arms Springfield 1903-A3 Scope Base

This base puts modern glass on a 1903-A3 Springfield without cutting into the rifle. It picks up the two 6x48 plug screw holes on the front receiver ring and the screw location on the rear sight elevation bar, so there is no drilling and no tapping.

Once it is on, the rail accepts Weaver and Picatinny rings, which opens the rifle to a current scope or a red dot instead of a long hunt for a period correct mount and vintage rings. Popular with shooters running a scout style optic or a low power scope on an old service rifle they still shoot, and it can come back off if the rifle ever needs to go back to original configuration.
