Kershaw Bel Air XL 3.4" FDE Folding Knife

The Bel Air XL is the larger version of Kershaw's Bel Air folder, running a 3.4 inch blade. The blade carries a black coating and the aluminum handle comes in Flat Dark Earth, which gives it more presence than the black on black look most folders arrive in.

It opens manually on KVT ball bearings and locks up with Kershaw's DuraLock, which closes one handed without putting fingers in the blade path. The bigger handle is the real argument for the XL over the standard Bel Air: more room for a full grip, which is what you want on the longer cutting jobs a larger folder gets picked for in the first place.
