JE Machine Tech AR-15 12" M-LOK Clamp Handguard

The clamp variant of JE Machine Tech's 12 inch AR-15 M-LOK handguard. Twelve inches suits the widest range of builds of any handguard length: enough forward reach for the support hand to do its job, not so much that it overshadows a shorter barrel and turns the rifle nose heavy.

Accessories go on through the M-LOK slots. Lights, hand stops, sling hardware, and bipod adapters bolt straight in, and whatever face is not carrying something is just tube. A slot based handguard also lets you slide a light an inch or two when the shadow from a muzzle device lands in the beam, which is not a fix available on a handguard with fixed rail positions.
