Iver Johnson 1000 Tactical 410 Bore 18.5" 5rd Satin Nickel Shotgun

Same gun as the black chrome 1000, finished in satin nickel. The action is a revolver: five 410 shells in a cylinder, one trigger pull per shell, no forend to pump and no gas system to foul. Chamber length is 3", the barrel measures 18.5", and three removable choke tubes come in the box so the pattern can be tuned to the job at hand.

Satin nickel is the reason to pick this one over the standard model. It is a bright, even finish rather than matte black chrome, and it holds up well against handling and humidity, which suits a gun that will spend time in a boat or a damp truck. The receiver carries a Picatinny rail for a red dot, which fits a gun that fires as fast as the trigger can be pulled. The trigger itself is double action with an exposed hammer, so it can be thumbed back for a lighter single pull or simply run through. A manual safety lock sits at the receiver.
