Hsm Subsonic 338 Arc Hollow Point Boat Tail 300 Grain 20 Rounds

The HSM 338ARC1N Subsonic brings the HSM reputation for match-grade performance to the 338 ARC platform, delivering a heavy 300 gr hollow point boat tail projectile engineered for downrange stability and controlled terminal performance, with a subsonic muzzle velocity around 1050 fps and roughly 735 ft—lbs of energy that make this load ideal for suppressed hunting setups and precision shooters who want quiet, consistent follow-up shots. The subsonic nature reduces muzzle blast and recoil impulse compared with supersonic loads, helping maintain sight picture and faster target reacquisition in the field or on the range, while the hollow point boat tail design promotes reliable expansion on game and aerodynamic efficiency for flatter trajectories at extended subsonic ranges. Shooters transitioning to the 338 ARC will appreciate that this round balances heavy-for-caliber sectional density with predictable ballistics, making it suitable for medium to large game at typical hunting distances and for tactical applications where reduced report and controllable impact are priorities. If you run suppressors or demand subdued reports without sacrificing terminal performance, the HSM 338ARC1N is a focused subsonic option from a trusted ammunition series.
