Howa M1500 Fence Line Mini 6mm ARC 22" 5rd Prairie Reaper Camo Rifle

Howa's mini action exists because a 6mm ARC does not need the bolt travel of a 308 sized receiver. Shorter throw, less weight, and a magazine well built around the cartridge rather than adapted to it. This one wears Prairie Reaper Camo on a fixed synthetic stock with Burnt Bronze Cerakote over the barrel and receiver, and the muzzle is threaded. Barrel length is 22" and it is hammer forged.

The 5 round magazine and the ARC chambering make this a natural coyote rifle, and it is enough gun for deer inside sane range. Howa puts an accuracy guarantee of 1" or better at 100 yards behind the barreled action and fits the HACT two stage trigger, which does not need the aftermarket attention most hunting rifle triggers do. The bolt lifts 90 degrees, dual locking lugs handle the pressure, and a spring loaded M16 style extractor gets the empty out. A three position safety covers unloading on safe and locking the bolt for transport. The receiver is drilled and tapped, so glass mounts without a trip to a gunsmith.
