Howa M1500 Fence Line 7mm PRC 24" 3rd Scorched Earth Rifle

7mm PRC is the cartridge that finally gave the 7mm bore a modern case: long, heavy bullets seated out over a case built to feed them, loaded to a pressure that lets them do what they were meant to do downrange. Howa put it on the standard length 1500 action in the Fence Line with a 24" hammer forged barrel, which is the length the cartridge wants to burn its powder charge. The muzzle is threaded and a brake is fitted, and that matters more here than it does on a 223 because the recoil is real.

The barreled action is finished in flat dark earth Cerakote and the stock is a fixed synthetic in Scorched Earth camo, so the rifle is dressed for open country rather than a bench. Howa guarantees sub MOA accuracy with premium factory ammunition, one inch or better at 100 yards. The action runs a 90 degree bolt throw with dual locking lugs and a spring loaded M16 style extractor, a three position safety that allows unloading with the safety on, and the HACT two stage trigger. The receiver is drilled and tapped for bases. The magazine holds 3rd, which is normal for a cartridge this long, and the rifle is right hand.
