Howa M1500 Fence Line 30-06 Sprg 22" Tungsten Grey Light Camo Rifle

Tungsten metalwork and a Grey Light camo stock give this Fence Line a pale, dusty look, which is the whole point on open ground where a black rifle shows itself from a long way off. Under the finish sits Howa 1500 barreled action in long action form, chambered in 30-06 Sprg behind a hammer forged 22" barrel.

Howa guarantees that barreled action to 1 inch or better at 100 yards. The bolt lifts 90 degrees and locks on dual lugs, a spring loaded M16 style extractor clears the case, and the three position safety allows unloading with the safety engaged or locks the bolt shut for transport. The HACT trigger is a true two stage with a defined first stage and a clean break, not the mushy single stage that usually turns up on a hunting rifle. As for the chambering, 30-06 Sprg has been the American default for more than a century and there is very little on this continent it cannot handle with the right bullet.
