Howa M1500 Fence Line 30-06 Sprg 22" Prairie Reaper Camo Rifle

The Prairie Reaper pattern usually turns up on varmint rifles, so finding it wrapped around a 30-06 Sprg is a little unexpected and it works better than it has any right to. Under the camo is Howa 1500 barreled action in long action form with a hammer forged 22" barrel.

Howa guarantees the barreled action to 1 inch or better at 100 yards. The bolt lifts 90 degrees on dual locking lugs, a spring loaded M16 style extractor pulls the case, and the three position safety allows unloading with the safety on or locks the bolt closed for a truck ride. The HACT trigger is a real two stage rather than a single stage with creep dressed up as take up.
