Hornady SST 20 GA 2.75" 250gr Slug 5rd Box

Hornady SST slugs take the SST bullet, a polymer Flex Tip design, and load it as a sabot slug for 20 gauge. The pointed tip raises the ballistic profile so the slug flies flatter and farther than a traditional slug, and it starts expansion on impact at slug gun velocities.

These loads are built for fully rifled barrels, where the sabot can spin the 250 grain bullet properly. In that setup a 20 gauge slug gun can hold groups that compete with some centerfire rifles, which is why SST slugs are popular in shotgun only deer zones. The 2.75 inch shells come 5rds to a box.
