Hornady LEVERevolution 30-30 Win 160gr FTX 20rd Box

LEVERevolution changed what a 30-30 can do. Lever guns with tube magazines have always been stuck with flat or round nose bullets, because a pointed tip resting on the primer ahead of it is a hazard under recoil. Hornady's answer is the Flex Tip: a soft elastomer point that is safe in a tube yet streamlined like a spitzer.

The 160gr FTX bullet shoots flatter and carries more energy downrange than traditional flat point 30-30 loads, stretching the practical range of an old deer rifle. Hornady advises against storing the rounds in a tube magazine for long periods, since that can deform the tips. 20rd box.
