Holosun HS407COMP Red 6 MOA Competition Reflex Sight

Competition optics have grown a bigger window every year, and the 407COMP is Holosun's answer in that race. It is a single reticle sight, a 6 MOA red dot and nothing else, set in a wide open housing that makes the dot easy to catch when the gun comes up out of a fast draw. There is no reticle menu to scroll through and no circle to turn on by accident.

The reason to pick a 6 MOA dot over a 2 MOA one is honest: up close a bigger dot is faster, and at match distances the extra size costs almost nothing on a piece of steel. Red stays the easiest reticle color on the eye for most shooters under indoor and overcast light, which covers a lot of range time. The open emitter design keeps the housing shallow and the window wide, which is what you want when you are transitioning between targets rather than aiming at one.
