Same 407C body, gold dot. Holosun added gold to the lineup because red and green each have a blind spot. Red washes out against bright dirt and rust colored steel, green gets lost in heavy foliage, and gold keeps contrast in both. It is a single 2 MOA dot with no circle and no reticle menu, so there is one sight picture to learn and nothing to change by accident.

The X3 update reinforced the housing around the window while keeping the optic low enough to co-witness with suppressor height irons. It sits on the RMR footprint, the most widely supported cut on optics ready slides and adapter plates. Automatic brightness with solar failsafe keeps the dot lit as light changes and keeps it working if the battery dies, and Shake Awake shuts the optic down when the pistol sits still. The battery loads from a side tray, so zero survives a change.
