Green reads brighter to most eyes than red at the same power setting, and that is the argument for the HE507C-X3. The multi reticle system gives you a 2 MOA dot for precision, a 32 MOA circle for speed, or the two together, and you move between them with the buttons on the left side of the housing. Underneath it is the same 507C body shooters have been running on duty and carry guns for years, updated with the X3 housing.

A solar panel on top backs up the CR1632 and keeps the reticle lit if the battery quits mid string. Shake Awake wakes the optic on movement, remembers the last brightness setting and can be locked out so nothing changes in a holster. The battery tray loads from the side, so zero stays put during a swap, and the aluminum housing carries an IP67 waterproof rating. The RMR footprint drops onto most optics ready slides.
