Green reads faster to most eyes than red, and the HE507C-GR-X2-ACSS puts a green ACSS Vulcan horseshoe dot on a full size pistol reflex sight. The outer horseshoe drives fast target acquisition inside a room, and the center dot keeps things honest when the target gets smaller or farther away. The Multi-Reticle System comes along with it, and the green emitter is the defining difference on this variant.

Power management is where this one earns its keep. Solar Failsafe pulls in ambient light and keeps the reticle lit if the battery ever quits, and Shake Awake puts the emitter to sleep when the pistol sits still and brings it back the instant it moves. Battery life runs up to 20,000 hours on setting 6 from a single CR1632. That cell sits in a tray that slides out from the side, so a battery change does not mean pulling the optic off the slide and starting your zero over.
