Heckler & Koch MR762A1 75th Anniversary 7.62 NATO 16.5" 20rd Rifle

For its 75th anniversary, Heckler & Koch built a very limited run of MR-Series rifles, only 500 of each. This is the MR762A1 75th Anniversary in 7.62 NATO, finished in Flecktarn, the camo pattern of the German armed forces, the Bundeswehr. The Bundeswehr has fielded HK weapons without a break since its first rifle buy, the G3, in the 1950s, and this rifle honors that relationship.

Underneath the camo it is a real MR762A1, the semi auto civilian descendant of the HK417. It uses HK's proprietary short stroke gas piston instead of direct impingement, so exhaust gas never enters the receiver and the rifle runs cooler and cleaner, especially in dust, sand and mud. The barrel is 16.5 inches and cold hammer forged, and the stock adjusts for length. The finish is Cerakote in Flecktarn, the rifle is engraved with the 75th anniversary logo, and it comes in a custom cut polymer hard case with a commemorative 75th anniversary coin and four 20 round magazines. It is a collector piece that shoots like an HK.
