Heritage Rough Rider Rancher 22 LR 16.12" 6rd Rifle

The Rough Rider Rancher takes Heritage's single action revolver and stretches it into a carbine. The six shot cylinder and 16.12" barrel are chambered in 22 LR, so it runs on the most common rimfire round there is while giving you a longer barrel and a shoulder stock to steady it. The aluminum receiver keeps the whole package light enough for a young shooter or a smaller frame adult, and the manual of arms could not be simpler. Cock the hammer, squeeze, repeat. Six shots, then reload.

This is a plinker and a small game gun first. The extra barrel length gets more out of a 22 LR round than any revolver can, and the single action trigger keeps things deliberate rather than fast. It handles the way a ranch gun should, short and light and easy to grab on the way out the door. Heritage builds the Rancher on the same Rough Rider bones that have taught a generation of new shooters, so nothing about the operation is a mystery and nothing on it is fragile.
