Heritage Badlander 12 GA 18.5" Nickel Shotgun

The Heritage Badlander is a side by side coach gun in the old stagecoach tradition, and this version wears a nickel finish on both the alloy steel receiver and the barrels. The two 18.5" barrels are cylinder bore, so the gun patterns buckshot and slugs without chokes to fuss with. Twin triggers let you fire each barrel on its own, one pull per barrel, the way a classic double works.

The break open action makes loading and checking the chambers quick and obvious. A two position safety sits on the tang where your thumb lands naturally, and a brass bead between the barrels gives a fast reference point. The stock and forend are Turkish walnut, a warm contrast to the bright nickel. At just under 35 inches overall it's short enough to move around inside a house or ranch truck, which is why coach guns have long been kept by the door. It also suits cowboy action stages and anyone who wants a simple, sturdy two shot 12 gauge with a bit more shine than the standard black model.
