Henry Single Shot Brass 410 Bore 26" Shotgun

The brass framed Henry Single Shot in 410 Bore is a light, easy handling break action shotgun built on the same action as Henry's Single Shot rifle. A rebounding external hammer and a locking lever that pivots either way keep the hammer off the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled, and an interlock blocks the action from opening or closing while the hammer is cocked. That makes it a sensible first shotgun for a young or new shooter.

The receiver is polished, hardened brass and the 26 inch barrel is round blued steel with a brass bead front sight. The chamber takes 3 inch 410 shells, and the barrel is threaded for choke tubes with a Full choke included, which helps keep a 410 pattern tight. The American walnut stock carries a smooth brass buttplate. The 410 has very mild recoil, so this gun suits squirrel and rabbit hunting, close range birds, and pest control around the property. With only one shot available, every shot has to count, and that is a good habit to build. It weighs about 6.7 pounds and runs 41.5 inches overall.
